Below, you will find some of the common dashboard light indicators and warnings that you'll experience in your Audi. As a general rule, the color of the illuminated symbol illustrates the severity of the issue.

Red once illuminated indicate an issue that required immediate attention.
Orange will typically indicate a less urgent issue, for example a vehicle service required.
Other symbol colors such as blue and green provide the driver with information such as lights and indicators.
Flashing warning lights inform the driver of an urgent issue.

Electronic immobilizer	Cruise control activated
Trailer attached - turn signals	Seat belt reminder
Direction indicators lights and hazard warning	Main beam headlights activated
Side lights and headlights activated	Engine management / coil glow plug system (for diesel engines)
Door open	Light bulb failure
Window washer level low

Low Tire Pressure Indicator
Tire containing yellow exclamation point - Tire pressures should be corrected as soon as possible if the pressure is too low.

If this symbol flashes for around 1 minute and remains illuminated, it signifies a fault within the system.
